Ekko Immune to roots
While other types of movement-impairing crowd control prevent Ekko from using his ultimate, roots will not. The ability says nothing to this effect and does not intentionally have a cleanse.

It makes sense, since he is not rooted and his ult is not actually a movement ability that a root would prevent.
It also makes sense thematically.
