Buttons Randomly stop working in game

So this is a rather weird bug i stumbled upon and only read something similar to what i was experiencing dating back to 2013. So I was wondering if anyone could have any ideas on what may be the issue here, and that anyone else has experienced such a annoyance.

Glitch

Button/Commands stop working

-Game Starts -I attempt to use an ability by pressing a button on my keyboard -Ability does not work

Other issues

-Inability to move my map how I would like, with the Y command, while also having the inability to lock or unlock it, whatever setting the map is on when this glitch happens, it stays on.

Can you solve it yourself? Yes, but I have to restart the game (exiting) to than re launch

How often does this happen? 2 out of 10 games

Is your computer or gear a dinosaur? Nope, all freshly bought, moderately expensive computer gear.

Can you still type in game? Yes, which is also how I know it's not my keyboard but the actual game

Do you know the cause of this issue? Nope.
