I believe it's a microsoft update issue. I just got an update on 9/2/2016 and I've been having the same issue.

When testing to see if it works. Go to practice. Not a real game.

It's probably a Windows Live thing. Windows 10 updated and added new features. I disabled the Xbox Live stuff in the settings like Game DVR and notifications. My LoL works fine after that.

The Windows home menu, you can usually just go to the windows bar, and look for the big old Xbox symbol. You click on that and look around in Xbox for awhile, check some settings menus and shut everything off, like notifications and game DVR.

-Click on the search button -Search for PowerShell -Right Click on Windows Powershell and choose Run as administrator -Type this: get-appxpackage (asterisk ) Microsoft.XboxApp (asterisk) | remove-appxpackage
