connection issues since 4.21

I have a fairly new computer and an amazing Internet connection. Prior to 4.21 I've had very few connection issues - all of which seemed to have nothing to do with my connection (at least 1 other player always disconnected as well).

Since 4.21, I've: Had unable to log in issues, saying it can't connect to pvp.net once I log in, I had a game today where I couldn't connect to start the game. I noticed this quickly and closed league and reopened and got in around 1:40 - why did the game start without me though, seriously. You can give someone 2 minutes to sort out a connection issue, I can see if everyone else is 100% and you're not connected for 5min, but I was only about 2 minutes... Then my last game, I randomly got the "trying to reconnect" message in game. I tried to close league a few times and it wouldn't close, until I realized it was warning me in game that if I left I'd be punished! Seriously if I'm disconnected in leaving to try to reset the connection, don't prevent me from closing the client! Anyways I force closed it with task manager and restarted and got back (but it was too late as I was going to have to carry and honestly could have, but as adc gone for 5 min they take a free Dragon and we don't have timers rest of game and even though we're roughly even they get 5 dragons to 0).

I've had about 5 connection issues today alone. Prior to 4.21 I never had connection issues. What changed on your end? Nothing changed on mine...
