Are you supposed to take damage while in a Kalista Ult?

I just played a game as Tham Kench. Somewhere around late game we had a fight mid lane near enemy base and she ulted. As soon as I zipped to her i died. I never launched myself out of the ult I just died while she was running away from the enemy.

I don't know for sure,but i guess DOTs or Tether kind of damages can still hurt you. In the wiki it says "Stasis" and then under it says "untargetable". You should try in a private match with some friends
