Repeat Login

Every single time I launch the client after it has been closed for a while (like a couple hours or more) my first login attempt always fails. Something to do with the server cannot be found or something, but it works fine on the second time. This is becoming a nuisance and I would like to see it stop happening. My password is long and it takes a lot of time to type that out twice. I don't have the patience for it. Is there something I can do on my end to fix it, or does RIOT need to figure something out to make this stop happening?

Anyone else having this problem?
