Are series rigged?

Every time i play ranked, and eventually get into series it seems like its impossible to win. I've been in series for gold 4, 11 times now and yes some of the losses were my fault but some were my team mates. I just had a soraka give up 8 kills in lane by about 7 minutes in. I didn't even know this was possible. Whenever i play games out of series it seems that its just a normal game, but i get into ranked and no matter what there's always something different. It just seems that if i have a hyper carry they lose lane, if the enemy has one they destroy in lane. I main jungle mostly and cannot stand how hard it is to carry games when the enemy adc has an IE before 9 minutes into the game. Sorry for rage, but so many times have i been screwed over by this it just seems non-winnable, on top of this i get reported for 'not ganking' as a jungler when they are 3 levels behind and have a pickaxe to an IE on multiple different games.

I would recommend not saying "prefer jungle" while in your series. Oftentimes it is harder to carry when playing jungle because you have to count on three lanes, while laning will make you only count on two, assuming you're above the skill level of the division that you are in and thus are able to count on winning lane - or at least not losing it. Yes, if jungle is your main role you'll most likely do best while in that role... But in a series, sometimes I find it's better for me at least to not TRY to get my main role. If someone else wants it, they'll probably do their best in that role and you can count on them more (usually!) to at least hold their own.

I main mid lane and jungle if I don't get mid lane, but I am also good at support (in fact, I used to main support). Yeah, sure I can always just have my team hop on my back and carry them to victory with my Talon, but our Teemo top who wanted mid lane might not be good at top and does bad, making it a frustrating experience for all involved. I'll take that risk when I'm in a regular old ranked game, and usually come out successful, but when I'm on my series, I don't actively try to seek out mid lane. If nobody wants mid and the opportunity arises, I will go mid with pleasure. But if someone else wants mid lane and I'm on my series? I'd rather just go support and feed the crap out of my ADC and know that I won't have to worry about our mid lane. (Besides... I just get a zhonyas and a ludens anyways on Morgana after sightstone, so what could the difference be?)

i mean this season i have won all my series first try Silver 3->Plat 5

last season I failed my silver 2->1 series 8 times (within 2 days) so i know the feeling, and honestly i just took a break the next time i got in series for like a week and then came back to it i felt so fresh and i just flat out carried hard in both

that is just my story but it could work for you

Thanks, and normally when i get jungle its when other people want the other roles. I've tried to fill i mean my most played champs are all different lanes, jungle, support, top, and mid mostly. Its just so annoying that i can get to series so many times but it just seems like as soon as i get to it i have the people who lag or who see i'm in series and troll. I had a game where i got reported too because one of our team mates said i was being toxic to him when i asked them to play safely and then when everyone else left after the game they said they were happy the team bought it and wanted me to lose in series...its rough because i have higher elo friends who think i can be at least mid tier gold and i can't seem to leave gold 5.

also any tips when you get matched up with a worse team? I always look up my enemy team and how good they play, and at times i'll have a team of full silver, while enemy is full gold with maybe a tilited plat. It seems like a really big mismatch at times that can't be won like that.

Not to stereotype, but plats are known for being one of the most toxic Leagues. If you punish the tiny mistakes the enemies make, especially getting too cocky when ahead, then the plats and golds might tilt or start yelling at each other in team chat, which causes tilting.

Don't try to outplay people that are clearly higher skill level than you. I'm not saying it can't work, but most of the time it won't, and it's better to just catch them out When they make mistakes. Play safe, be careful, ward, don't take unnecessary risks. They know how to punish you for it better. And remember that every time.
