Refunding old skins

Kinda sorta the wrong forum for this type of question, but oh well. I can see how the misunderstanding came about.

From the client itself, there's no way to refund purchases that aren't shown for the obvious reason of, as you've seen, it doesn't go that far back. You can, however, submit a ticket to Player Support and ask them to use one of your refund tokens (assuming you still have at least one) to refund an older skin that is no longer shown. Whether or not they oblige your request is solely up to their discretion, but it's worth a shot. They're usually pretty lenient about these kinds of ordeals, but there may be some policy we don't know about that they have to abide by. Won't know until you ask.
