Is there is trick to winning a game when you win your lane but other lanes lose? Should one roam to help the lanes that are losing? Is it the support? The adc?
Any tips on this would be much appreciated, thanks.

In high elo once people give their opponent the kill, they play it safe until they catch up in gold.
In low elo once people give their opponent the kill, they keep playing as if they are not at a disadvantage, and end up feeding extremely hard as a result.
I can't tell you how infuriating it is to have triple my opponents CS, but then get instantly deleted by a 6/0 Annie who decided to pay top a visit.

Meanwhile our middle is the opposite. He fed annie 6 kills in 8 minutes.
When you're feeding someone that fast, there's nothing I can do to compensate for their idiocy.

people do the same thing against Nasus, set him behind and eventually they just become a null factor

IcyPepper1 votesLet me tell you something that I learned in the tournament I was in the other day (won third place out of thirteen teams):
Roaming really throws things out of whack, and turn games around. Because of teamspeak, every team was using extreme coordination and planning compared to solo queue, so there were less ignites and more teleports. Top and mid lane constantly ganked each other and bot lane, almost to the point that the junglers were the real laners (okay, not really, I did my job and did it well as jungler).
But knowing when to roam is also part of it. I once ganked a lane when I wasn't needed and ended up dying like an idiot, so timing. If you can't roam, keep cs'ing and don't lose xp and gold. If there's an opportunity, go for it.
If you're in top lane, teleport is a great spell to take to help your team out.
As for bot lane, generally bot the adc and support leave their lane to help out (since if they get caught in the jungle, the support can peel for the adc). If the adc can hold the lane, the support can roam to mid lane to help out with a little extra utility (a gank from Leona, for example, can really secure that kill for a midlaner). If you need the tower taken, then the adc should head to that lane.
Also, I've been experimenting and found that 
is a decent item for AP champions to take towers with. It might be a niche, but clever idea for the support to take it and push the tower while the midlaner clears creep waves.
Only Play Darius1 votesStop trying to make a toplane-roaming meta. I'm getting pissed at my team fuming at me for not teleporting into botlane.
Toplane is meant to be a farm/sustain lane, not a roaming lane like mid/jg. My team reports me for not helping out in teamfights, they say sh!t like "Nasus: Takes Teleport, doesn't use it"
Let's get one thing straight. I took teleport so that I could return to my lane faster and get more stacks, not because I want to TP into teamfights. Nasus is the quintessential farmer, stop acting like he should be helping the team out in teamfights. If I teleport into a teamfight, then I maybe, just maybe, get 6 stacks because I killed a squishy with a Q. Meanwhile, I could have stayed toplane, gotten about 30 stacks from the wave, and not burned my teleport in the process, not to mention I wouldn't have died either because no one knows how to use a tank to his full effectiveness in my elo.
Want me to teamfight? Wait until I have full build and 800 stacks. Until then, it's not my fault you can't handle your lane.
LordDarkshayde1 votesThis is just ignorant. Do you even watch LCS at all? Top laners with an available teleport always use TP to jump into a teamfight, usually by flanking the enemy. Also if you are expecting your team to wait for you to have full build and 800 stacks on Nasus then you are honestly worthless to your team anyways as one of two things is gonna happen.
A) Your base is gonna get destroyed as they 5v4 your team to death cause you too busy farming
B) You are gonna get jumped by 2-3 members of the enemy long before you get that full build and 800 stacks and they are gonna then destroy your lane

LordDarkshayde1 votesIf you've allowed him to get fed to the point this guy is talking about sure, but if you take 2-3 champs top to shut him down early to mid game he can't do jack. Nasus is stupidly easy to blow up if teams work together to do so. He has no escapes, one slow that will target one person while the other two blow him up, and not much else to speak of. Also the state of tanks in this game lately is very lackluster and trust me I love playing tanks but I still get blown up in a matter of seconds when 3 people focus me down. Resistances don't mean shit with all the ArPen/MagPen items people have access to.

30 Stacks is not worth your team mates losing a fight over. You win a team fight, you can pressure objectives and the team benefits from global gold or buffs (tower and dragon).
That is how you win games, not just farm your brains out.

Is it the only viable solution? No.
And besides, Nasus does need his stacks, but that doesn't mean he needs to stay in top lane 100% of the time during mid/late game. I mean, is it fair to ask for ganks if you're not going to leave your lane.
Until then, it's not my fault you can't handle your lane.
What's with all the anger? The guy asked how he could win more games, so I gave him advice. Not all top laners need to afk farm for 40 minutes. Once the laning phase is over, there is no point in not helping your team out. If you want to win a game, you need to cooperate, not do your own thing, ignore your teammates, then blame them for losing.
On the other hand, gameplay does need to change if you have a Nasus top. Forcing early game teamfights is not a good idea, so I'll give you that. But most top laners should be using teleport to aid their team, not just farm more.
