Best 3 tops?

I'd recommend a tank, a bully, and a bruiser.

or are really good tanks top.

or are typical bullies, but is the one that brings the best teamfight.

or are typical bruisers top. They do well against ranged tops and are generally versatile blind picks.

A mage top like or is also doable. They give you an AP option and can push around certain opponents.

Because top features all kinds of champions you probably want some flex picks to avoid counter picking. The tanks can usually jungle, or most mage tops can go mid.

Well if you could actually master them, assuming you're playing in solo queue, and that you really wanna just play one of three champions for every situation (Really high skill cap, godly when mastered) (Incase they get riven) (Incase you're all AD, in which case riven would be a bad pick)

Nasus, Late game powerhouse, takes down turrets with 2 Q's. Shuts down enemy adc, very good 1v1. Riven. High skill cap but stupidly good when mastered. High movement, stuns, and consistent damage. Alistar. Great CC for gank assist / team fights. Can bully lane easily. Best tank ability in game.

After that its counter picking. Quinn vs melee teams is fun with her blind / gap opener but many adc's can go top if you're good at it. Vlad / rumble / akali work if you need AP, etc. All about what you're comfortable with.

Gnar, Gnar, and Gnar. In all seriousness, Gnar is the best one (at least the one I'm best with). Maokai is a good one if you want AP, and Rumble is good if you don't really need a tank.
