Is Kassadin really worth buying?

Hey guys, another "Is x worth buying?" thread by me.

I really liked Kassadin's lore and his new visuals. I also liked his unescapable poke. His popularity in LCS also made me like him, but his crappy winrate makes me thoughtful. Is his winrate nonsense? Is he really strong? Should I buy him as a tanky mage/tank main for middle/top lane? Also, if you think that I should buy him, can you give me some tips?

Thanks for reading tho

hes strong if you know how to play the game and can farm not recommended if you are low elo, if you know how to use him hes fun as hell

Well i wouldn't really recommend it. Basically they nerfed him so much that you can have no fun with him.

If you get rek early game u'll face a 60 min painful torture of not being able to do anything.

If you rek early game and they see "wow kassa fed" the enemy team will end up surrendering at 20 minutes preventing you from any enjoyment.

Nope.

Most of his damage had been removed, and now all he has is his mobility, and a lot of it. But pure mobility doesn't do much if he doesn't have anything else, especially for a melee champion.

yes! definitely buy him! Despite his extremely large nerfs i still see him as a strong champion, and hes always been enjoyable so i definitely recommend you buy him... Also you will just buy him eventually anyway because you will obcourse want to buy every champ :) so get him early and get as much enjoyment as you can ! :)

Hes still really viable in Normals but the first five minutes or so will generall decide if you have an amazing game or a shitty game. If you get fed you can easily rift to their backline, fuck their adc, and rift out taking minimal damage.
