Reportable Offense?

Skip over this first part if you don't feel like reading.

I didn't really notice at the time, but I just recently realized that I have gotten quite a few of the - "Your recent behavior isn't in line with how most League of Legends players act" - popups after my games over the past few weeks. I always seem to not be able to keep my mouth shut in the chat when my team is feeding or something bad happens. I haven't ever gotten banned before, but I think I might if I keep it up.

So I was wondering, if I were to just do /mute all whenever I get into a game, then communicate very well with pings, can I still get reported/banned? I feel as if I mute everyone, I can avoid flaming people, and focus on the game more.

But then, they cant communicate to you, only with pings, and most dont ping. If people start getting toxic, mute JUST them, give them a bit of a chance. I usually dont complain about feeders until the after game screen, easier to see the whole game and how it played out.

You cant be ban if you mute everyone on the team, if anything they encourage it because the more you chat with your team (that is unrelated to the game) the more evidence you get when getting reported. Remember you dont always need to talk to your teammates especially when they fed/are doing poorly. they know and jammering at them constantly about it isnt helping, and more often than not will just make them, or you rage even more!

if you dont want to get ban i suggest to just mute everyone on your team and keep chat to a minimal!

That's one way to communicate. Even if they report you for that it still means jack shit, because:

  1. You can't be banned for "refusing to communicate".
  2. They waste their reports for negative behaviour, while you aren't negative.
