In my promos a diamond smurf went trynd mid and did alright. I've also seen it played at high elo and it just seems to be consistantly played for some reason as anyone with decent harass and ignite could shut him down easy imo. Thoughts?

my guess is early game cheeze pick since most mages super squish, im guessing it depends on the match up as well
maybe check who hes laning with...
i think its pretty much impossible for a good yasuo to beat a reasonable tryndamere cause you will just crit him to death ?
but id see him do bad against someone with allot of cc and range
ehhhh ap tryn used to be a thing, then his ap ratios got thrown out the window. at best it is a stupid funny build to take in aram or something since the only damage it gives him from his kit is his e. Outside of that he relies on lichbane/nashors tooth for damage.

almost every bruiser/marksman is playable mid. question is: does your team need that right now?
he can be played somewhat similar to an ad assassin. his ult lets him live through burst damage and kill his opponent while often being able to get away. harass can be a problem so it is only good in certain matchups. as someone else has already said, trynd completely dumps on yasuo 1v1 all game long.
