Basically the title. Ali was pick/ban for a while in the top. Did his W nerf hurt him that bad that he is unseen now-a-days? Also, do you guys think he is still a decent support? And why is zilean not played as support OR mid anymore? As support he has free GA after 6 and good harass with decent cc. In mid he does massive damage with full AP. Any thoughts?
his slow is 55%. thats pretty significant and his ult just brings you back to life lol. obviously not as much cc as leona braum or thresh, but he has much better poke. idk i wouldnt call him useless
The reason zil isnt played that much anymore is just cuz the game has changed. Most people want an insta gib bursty assassin mage or energy user. Ali i dont really have a reason why. the only thing i can think of his kit isnt that great anymore.
Zil doesnt do anything. I hate having him as a supp when im adc. He does not have decent cc idk what champ your thinking of but a zil does not have cc. Id much rather a leo, braum, thresh over a zil. His only ability is to poke in lane after that hes useless
i thought zileans passive was jsut that everyone on the team got 8% more xp. is this different now?

zilean got nerfed really fucking hard.
They nerfed his passive without compensation, so now if you take Zilean mid his passive spends half the game unused.
Now he is locked to support role, unless you are so good with zilean that you can make up for the lack of passive for your team.
