Kennen or Vlad?
Who would rather have as your top laner? Im deciding who to make my main ranged top laner.

Kennen is WAY more fun in my opinion. Just fyi.
for CC &
for counter-pick. I main
though so obviously I'm going to use
is on Free rotation If you wanna give him a try to see if you like him. :)
I use him as an ADC aswell Ive been doing well against
Kennen Has an advantage of more base attack speed and move speed against her. Leveling W first can get you A LOT of damage. Both have good escapes but Kennen can stun. and with a good support kennen can get quite fed..
I also enjoy him top lane. he's very safe with his escape ability. he can poke from a distance. and go all in when his jungler ganks and get a stun off his enemy laner for an easy kill.
Vladimir is by far better choice if u take the time to get good at him.
Why?
Because the pressure is on your opponent. You scale sooooooo hard. If you are under plat iv, its even better since no team, can close up at 30. Its a surrend at 20 (and often before) or game last forever....
Vlad is my most played top laner, and lots of experience mid aswell. When u get good at it and you can afford 4 different pages of runes for him for any situation. You will ALWAYS ALWAYS get ur powerspike and you will NEVER DIE. Vladimir is hard to dive and hard to gank. The best knowledge you need to get is how to push, when to push, how to ward. If you start to play him, get MS quint until you get used to his dps/spellvamp, that will help you stay alive, later when u know perfectly how much dmg u can absorb throught lifesteal, basicly when u take winning trade or not, switch from ms to ap qui t.
Kennen is a champ i have also succes on, its simply totaly different. If the champ interest you, you should play malphite. Higher priority champ and same type mid/late game, a silly champ who relies on R.... Kennen is a monster early game, if u fail to harass perfectly, then u get rolled on and u are a liability for your team for 25 minutes. At least malphite can make it on his own, even of he struggles.
I'd go with Kennen, he tends to be have more versatile builds than Vlad as well as being more likely to be a good choice in teamcomps because of his cc and poke.
Wow its all tied up.
KNEEL BEFORE VLAD
Kennen personally, because he's super fun and good in team fights.
wow, chosing between aids and cancer here. i say garen
Personally in my opinion, Vlad has more weaknesses. No real mobility and if badly behind, can't do much. Kennen has said mobility and also will always be relevant due to his ult and/or stuns.
Vlad does have great sustain but only if his opponent isn't amazing at denying him of that and taking advantage of his mobility. Champions like Riven crap on him which is problematic seeing as she, and similar champions, are popular top lane. Kennen can cs safer and, again, be more useful when behind.
However, keep in mind, regardless of champion weaknesses/strengths, what it really comes down to is personal preference and skill with a champion. For example, despite Gnar being very strong and useful to teams, I'm terrible at him and will always be more useful with "less powerful" or not in-meta champions. Always play what you like more or are better at!
Swain...
Depends, do you play like a bitch or aggressively? If you play like a bitch, play Vlad. If you play aggressively, play Kennen.
It really depends on the teamcomp. They're both teamfight-oriented mages with splitpush potential, but Vladimir offers more raw damage and Kennen offers more poke and CC. I'd say whichever you enjoy playing more, since they both work well in wombo comps.
If I could choose from anyone, I would highly recommend
.
If I had to choose an AP champion, I would probably pick
or
for a mid-ranged top laner. They can utterly crush many melee champions, scale quite well into the late-game, and have good utility and burst/sustained damage.
If I had to choose between
and
, I would probably choose Kennen since you still have good CC and teamfighting even if you fall behind.
