I'm a jungle main and I play a lot of tanks and bruisers, 
with the two assassins in my pool being

I was looking for suggestions of champions to try based on my play style. I like to be the frontline that just wont die and I like to tank towers for my team after winning a team fight so that we can push without minions. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

These champions are either bruisers or tanks and have similar play styles to the ones you listed. All of them have CC and at least Maokai, Volibear and Malphite are all naturally tanky without much health built. I don't play much jungle myself, but if I was you I'd check these guys out.

With regard to the others:
-- tried him, not a fan
-- haven't tried him in the new jungle, his kit does seem to fit my playstyle though
-- definitely on my list, not in my pool currently
-- I'll have to try him at some point, I'm not sold on him just yet though
-- I'm going to leave that one alone, maybe a pick for when I don't get to jungle, still fits my playstyle in another roll

DrathTurtle3141 votesNo, but I'm the jungler for my ranked team and I generally only play when they are on.(usually normal team builder, we are currently unranked and inactive because we can't seem to get all five of us on at once...)
When I do solo queue, I can play anything other than adc, though I struggle with mid because those are usually the squishy roles. Support is my secondary and I really like

I'm just looking for more champions to try, specifically in the jungle because that is my favorite role, but just in general any suggestions and any tips you have on how to play the champion would be nice.
DontDieRespawn1 votes Farm your ult, with the update to it it is even better you can farm jung monsters or lane creeps with it and the cd is reduced with a successful ult. Because of the hp from it. 
then stack hp tank items and some ap items, you will be the God of cc tanks.

I play him with some frequency. Cinderhulk + RoA + Spirit Visage + Warmogs + Rainduins + (insert luxury item or item vs specific comp here)
usually my luxury item is either a 
for the armor+mr or 
for the health + AP + slow on auto with e.
DontDieRespawn1 votesPeople have told me Rammus is the talkiest tan in the game... I said oh really then why does it take five people to attempt to melt me when I am laughing it off? Mean while I am knocking them up having a grand old time waiting for my team to melt them. I love Rot portal, it makes tanks viable for turret clear. 
Is another tank, I can get beat down all day and think, eh my team is right around the corner.
