Teach me how to gank as jung

You're in the bush. Its top lane. The lane is getting pushed a bit towards your own tower. At what point in the lane do you run out of the bushes to gank? Does it differ by champion? I've played Udyr Diana Evelynn Amumu and many more, but am keen on trying some others: esp Nautilus . I really like running chilling smite but it depends on who I jung with, so I may not have it... anyway.

What I am asking for is a simple picture with a colored-in area or a circle/line illustrating how close to your allied tower the enemy should be before you get out of the bushes. Thanks in advance.

I main jungle and I'm B4. Hit me up. I'm pretty good. I can play with you so I can show you.

I play Garen a lot. Garen usually builds tanky first. He doesn't do a lot of damage outside of his abilities. E early will just damage all minions and will usually make you lose cs or push lane harder than you want to. You can Q right after a basic attack if your basic attack failed to finish the minion to secure the cs. The speed boost doesn't end on it so you can hit and then still move back, so it works to get some cs when you are laning vs a ranged that has you beat. But yeah, if you are standing on the wrong side of the river, and you can't walk away from the jungler and the other top, best to hold back that q until you let the lane move towards you some.

You come out of the bushes when... 1: Your laner lands some sort of hard cc 2: You are behind the enemy laner.

Like others have said... get behind them and wait until they burn an important CD. If you watch the lane while you're moving there, you might be able to discern a pattern to the enemy's play style.

I gank top from the bush closest to the tower, if my team is on the bottom side. I try to gank from the furthest distance from our tower.

I usually gank a lane if enemy is pushed up. If they are 1/2 ish hp I will always gank that lane. It's really hard to gank for a lane that isn't warded though.

As a general rule you want to begin the gank when someone moves in to CS or when they trigger blood lust, a point at which they begin committing to a kill and noticing less about the minimap. This works regardless of JG you are playing, honestly use this and you will have many more skill shots land, leading to more successful ganks

Wait until the enemy uses a cooldown.

Like an enemy riven uses her Q to try and trade with your top laner; now she can't use it to escape

Or a Garen uses his Q to farm. Literally all Garens do this. I don't know why.

So what's the max time you wait in a bush?

Do you ever 180 and not gank for any reason? For what reasons? Like your top just died and you dont want to rush a 2 v 1?
