How to play Twisted Fate
Just bought Twisted Fate. He is an extremely fun champion to play, but also quite hard as well.
I was just looking for tips on how to play him better. Any and all tips would be appreciated.
Thanks! 😃

Gank with him after 6, don't waste your ult. He can snowball your teammates.
you don't really need a mana regen item unless you really want the CDR and don't want
and/or cdr runes. Spam blue card whenever you can and don't need to use/save a red or gold.
red card on minions is useful to poke a hard to reach enemy champ. However, there's nothing to minion block on tf so good players won't stand next to their minions. I believe this also works on towers but actually need to test that myself.
Movement speed quints/mastery/items are strong on TF. they will allow you to simply walk up to opponents, and catch/kill them with your gold card if they misposition and fail to respect your card/speed/damage/and nearby teammates
treat him as a utility mage who sets up kills for your team rather than a hard carry
more niche, but ult can be used simply to locate enemies on the map in order to out rotate them to some objective. Also can be used to feign that you will be porting when you intend not to, just so an enemy backs off. For example, your bot lane is getting ganked and will probably die, you're in base and too far too help, but you can take a chance and ult. The Oh shit TF ult icon may make the enemy back off. Not a sure thing, but something to keep in mind. Also useful to spot a twitch or other stealthed champ, but that's pretty obvious imo
the hardest part about TF imo is pulling off a successful gold card ult. Mainly just takes practice but watch the range of your ult...get into a spot you can safely port and reach your target. R > W > R then W the gold while you are porting will maximize the duration of your gold card while also surprising the enemy and giving them little reaction time. You will often burn flashes and still get the stun if you show up already holding a gold card. Of course you can W after you port, and this is easier, yet also more unreliable as it will take a second or 2 after the port to lock in your gold. If, however, the target is quite overextended and you teleport to an effective spot , it shouldn't really matter
by no means am i a TF master or main, but I've played him a bit and these are some of the things I've discovered. I think he helps you practice map awareness as you need this to pull off successful ults
Play him AD and Max w it is insanely fun and suprisingly strong
Twisted Fate in my opinion is the strongest mid lane sleeper pick. His only weakness is his lack of mobility and escaping mid lane ganks which can be covered with the proper rune page and summoner spells.
Try running: Movement speed quints ; Magic Pen Marks; Health per level Seals; Cooldown reduction per level Glyphs with 21/0/9 masteries
summoner spells

The rest is just learning his kit, utilizing ult properly and positioning in team fights
