Question about shaco

Ok, i know some people liek to go the traditional AD route and just stab people really hard, and some peopel play AP to try to bait into boxes. My question is why does no one build him hybrid? that way you can bait them into the boxes but while they are feared jump in and still do a ton of damage. It makes no sense to me why no one builds him hyrbid. please discuss!
