So I've almost got 4800IP again and I'm wondering what champion I should buy. I'm looking at

, but I don't know which one is a better buy for solo queue. What are like the advantages/disadvantages for each? etc etc etc
Or should I just go buy a completely different champion?
The tip is to 1: Buy the one you like to play. Buy the one you have fun with because that is what matters.
If you are still going to twist my arm about this and tell me how I have to tell you because you are one of those guys and are concerned about "I gotta buy an OP champ and be gud withem!" Tip 2: A champion you enjoy playing is one you will play more. The champs you play more are the ones you will get better with and thus, win more games with if that's all that matters to you.
It's not that I only play those "FOTM" guys. I'm just indecisive. OFC I'll buy all of them eventually.
Both do an insane amount of damage really fast so either are a good pickup. Brand is really fun. I never played Malz.
I really enjoy Brand. Malzahar can push like crazy with just E and some auto attacks and his Ulti is literally one of the most annoying things in the game, but Brand has HUGE AOE burst that can destroy people in teamfights. If you want to shut down an assassin I say Malz is the way to go, if you want to help more with a teamfight I would go with brand.
Mal OP and easy to play. Also, he's not FOTM so you're likely to not see him banned or your lane opponent may not even know how to play against him.
I used Malz to carry myself through Bronze back into Silver, so I would definitely check him out. Just use his E for unlimited lane sustain. :)
, because you can't jungle with AD Brand.
Personally, I would recommend Malzahar. He has safe farming capabilities, his ultimate is great for 1v1s and roaming, he does a lot of damage even when behind, and he can CC key targets to help his team (such as a bruiser/tank/assassin diving your allies). Also, his Null Zone and his synergy with Liandry's Torment are great for killing objectives and tanks, so he's quite useful in the current meta.
Both Brand and Malzahar have their issues due to their immobility and methods of CC'ing targets, but they are still strong choices when played well.
