Help me with champ pool

I normally just play normal with my friends and I was normally jungle or support but with friends wanting to learn new things I need to start picking up a champ pool for top/mid. I'd like to only focus on 4 champs per role so I don't get bored but maybe if I ever get good with them take them into ranked.

Top champs so far:Irelia Swain Really looking intoRekSai cause shes super fun top even though I kinda suck. interested inFiora Lissandra Mordekaiser Renekton Olaf Shyvana Singed

Mid champs so far:Chogath Diana Kassadin interested inElise Galio Viktor

Im not looking for the "best champions" just want something enjoyable yet workable/reasonable to see in that lane.

PS: my positioning with long range champs suck cause I normally play tanky/dive champs.

PSS: I own all champs of interest.

Elise is not really a mid laner. Elise is traditionally a jungler, but she can be effective in some top matchups...

If you like dive I would consider Fiora and Renekton for top. Both have mobility and a lot of damage. Renekton is very strong early game with his sustain and brawn. Fiora is a powerful assassin. Very frustrating to deal with when fed :)

Olaf top is underrated. Usually bullies melee matchups with his E max. Versus ranged Q, the axe throw, is more reliable as a way to poke/waveclear. But if you rely on Q for damage though you gotta build mana which means frozen heart versus AD. Or I suppose Righteous Glory can work vs. ranged AP tops item 3800 . You don't see this often yet but it should work... If you max E versus melee you probably want hydra, or tankiness for Olaf laning.

Your mid picks are really good. Diana and Cho'gath are super strong. Kassadin can be pretty good super late game (16+ rank 3 ult) I think.

Lissandra is pretty good both mid and top and probably suits your playstyle.

Rek'Sai can be played top but I think there are more effective picks.
