Ganking winning lanes vs. ganking losing lanes

I already have my own opinions on this, but I'm curious as to what the rest of you think. Is it better to gank lanes that are winning or lanes that are losing?

I personally think that one should prioritize ganking winning lanes as it is much easier to get kills, and allows you to bring that much more pressure into the lanes which are losing because you will be stronger when you do gank for them. It also tends to make a lane completely one-sided in your teams favor, which means you won't need to gank that lane again (probably).

Depends on the lane, the competency of the laner, the match-up, and what their cs score is.

For example: take the mid lane. Easiest lane to gank (bad midlaners only use their trinket, meaning if you smite chickens you know which side :D). If my laner is one kill behind but is relatively equal or ahead in cs, good lane to gank. If the enemy is an Ezreal, I'll wait until he uses his main escape to harass before going in. If my laner has cc to avoid this, however, I can gank beforehand and not wait long.

Now, take top. If the enemy is warding a shit ton, my laner won't buy wards, has shit cs and keeps going HAM on the enemy despite it being hopeless and keeps pushing the lane to the enemy tower... well there's only so much I can do :/

Don't focus on winning or loosing lanes, that the discussion even exists shows that is a good idea to gank either. Gank the lane where you can do the most.

For example If they have an escape or good positioning, it won't matter much if you gank, they just take a step back and go right in again. So gank somewhere else.

Where to gank entirely depends on wheter you can 2v2 or not. If your laner is behind, but you can 2v2 or you know the enemy jungler is somewhere else you can gank. Also, dont gank toplane unless its an incredibly easy kill or a very snowbally matchup AND drat is down

i think you should gank wherever you know you can assist the most.

If bot's winning, but has minions pushed to their turret with the opponent's flash/ult down, go ahead and gank (check that their wards are down as well). On the other hand, if they're losing yet have minions pushed to the opponent's turret, it'll be hard to catch your opponent. Don't gank.

Make sure they know how to set you up to gank, otherwise the best you'd do is scare them away like a flock of pigeons.
