How do you play Vayne well?

Been trying to expand my ADC champ pool so I've turned to Vayne which I seemingly suck with so I want some pointers on how to play her effectively. It seems like if I make any mistakes or have a support who makes any mistakes I fall behind the other ADC and can never catch up because I do so little damage without items and have no wave clear to farm quickly.

So general questions: do you max Tumble or Silver Bolts first? How do you effectively catch up if you fall behind as Vayne? Bork or IE first? What are other points that are essential to playing Vayne well other than positioning well to get Condemn stuns off?

I'm just looking for anything because I'm usually not horrible with champions other than Draven and it's frustrating that I play Vayne like shit.

Learn zone control, thats all you need.

Naw but for real, dont try to fight before you get BoRK. Just Cs in lane and try not to trade with the enemy laner. Don't pick vayne unless your support has alot of cc (leo/nuat/raka) never pick if your support is sona/blitz or a kill lane supp (annie) once you get BoRK you should be able to 1v1 most people, dont try to 1v2 or fight under armed, your not Doublelift. Mind your surroundings and play safe, know what spells the enemy has up and what there range is (plz dont get ahri charmed) just stay at a safe range and aa the tank if you have to. NEVER DASH INTO A FIGHT. (idc if its 1v5 and he is on 2 HP save that shit to get out)

Also to answer your questions

do you max Tumble or Silver Bolts first? Bolts How do you effectively catch up if you fall behind as Vayne? Steal your junglers bot camp and just cs till you get a few items, you can still be strong if your 5k gold behind if the game is late. Play alot passiver and dont fight unless you have good vision. (pretty basic shit xD) Bork or IE first? BoRK always What are other points that are essential to playing Vayne well other than positioning well to get Condemn stuns off? Learn synergy with your support, most people will forget about your condem and try to hide in the bottom bush, ward that and punish them. Dont just use condem as a stun, its also a pretty good escape, think of it as a trist rocket jump if you like.

Vayne is a different adc compared to the wide range of them. For first notes, she is an assassin type adc who plays heavily in the front line looking for picks. She is great against tanks when silver bolts are maxed.

CS is the most important thing to vayne. If you can't cs properly i would suggest going into a pre made and practicing because she is one of the hardest champs to cs with. Not to mention she has a tough lane if she can't because she has no wave clear. Bork is always first buy. Attack speed, life steal and the most important active is what you need. With bork you can start soloing people. To catch up you have to get to late game. Im a strong believer that once teams are full build, the champs that scale the hardest are almost a lock to win. So even if you're behind, don't knock yourself. You are literally one of the hardest scaling champs in the game. Just try not to die and pickup gold where you can. Jungle creeps, minion waves, things like that.
