I want to get out of bronze

I want tips on how to farm when im a melee vs a ranged champ and i want tips on where to ward on SR, at the moment all i do is ward the side bushes of mid and then put a pink in that circle bush in the middle of river and finally As a person who loves to play mid/support, if i play mid, should i focus on roaming or farming, because currently my gameplay causes me to roam very often I usually always win lane btw the only time i lose lane is when i (by my own mistake not my teams) over extend without ward coverage of the river but I usually have wards down so thats not too often

So I've been playing a while.. Okay one thing people need to really emphasize on is "how" If you're losing lane say as fizz vs Idk.. malzahar? You're really limited to what you can do in this lane. Simply because you can't go all in - he's bulky. You can't farm without being smashed by aids and autos. You're best option would be to beg your jungler to camp - or roaming for a four man gank bot/top. Want a tip? Practice Katarina. She's redundantly easy for a new player, while also having a certain skill cap a player can utilize. She has the same weaknesses as most melee champs - but with some interesting farming/burst potential you can do. Focus on pushing someone out of lane with q spam. Remember to TALK to your team, in bronze we all have those games where you see that one chatty chancy and you want to just bitch them out because ALL they do is talk. Don't. Talk to them. Have a good time. Have fun! It's a game still, take it seriously but don't treat it like life or death. YOU LOSE A MATCH. Learn. You won't ever win ranked if you don't lose some. In bronze just try your best, if someone on your team shows the potential to carry and you know you can't - help them get fed. Play secondary support midlaners like Malzahar/ oriana/ syndra/ If you need to. People with cc that can lock down someone. GL;HF

Yep, you're a bronze.

  1. Avoid the ranged attacks while farming.
  2. Ward areas where the jungler can surprise you. Bushes are a priority.
  3. FARM. Why are you even roaming? That's the jungler's job.
  4. Stop warding the river. Ward your lane.

  1. ward everywhere you might get ganked at.
  2. farm if you have waveclear, kill if you're a duelist, roam if you're a mobile assassin. with your playstyle get kat/akali/ahri/kass/yas bully your opponent, out cs, kill them, then roam. dont just roam while he farms cause he'll get gold and xp while he pings his allies and they freeze or run.
  3. play a champ thats hard to gank, play who you're strong at.

other thing sometimes getting out of bronze is luck, hopefully you have a team that doesn't feed to hard in laning phase, a jungler who secures objectives or ganks, and no afks.

Hey man i feel your pain man! i have been playing the game for years man. Early season one! I am currently in Gold III. I like to think i am a good player with a good ammount of knowledge of the game! i am rated at top 150,00 rakned players in the game!(out of about 1,250,00)

I was not always that good, in season one i was so bad. So bad in fact, i wished i was bronze! my rating back then was 560! yes, 506! you needed a rating of 1200 to make it to bronze! And i just couldnt figure out why i was loosing so many games. I thought i was good mechanically and i thought i had good knowledge of the game. What in the world can i be doing wrong?

Well back in season 2 i decided to climb the ladder! So i began to actually study the game and how it works. I cant type fast enough to tell you all things that i did and all the tips i have for you=(. I have a very ambitious attitude so i was able to motivate myself to do better.

What i think you need is a coach! and this is what ill do for ya!

I will be happy to coach you for free man! I cant promise you diamond or challenger but i can promise you that you get out of bronze and i am very confident i can get you to gold EZ!

You see, I am still learning things about the game as well. and i have a dream. I dream of coaching a professional LCS team one day and i could start here!

just add me in game IGN: bandgeek05

Hey man! Keep playing, that's the best advice anyone can give you. Practice makes perfect.

But more practically, try to buy AT LEAST 1 ward every back. It will make a huge difference. If you are behind, ward your own jungle or ward the river near dragon. You'd be surprised how easy it is catch other teams with their pants down around drag, and it's a sure-fire way to come back from losing. If you are ahead or even, try to place some deep wards. It is easy to keep track of the jungle when you know which side he is. If you are mid and you see the jungle getting his red (and you are blue side) just hug the side of the lane near dragon. and ping your top that the jungle is near there. Oh ya, that reminds me, ping like everything. I don't mean spam pings, but, if your lane leaves, type it in chat and ping the path that you think the enemy is going. If you are not sure, caution ping both the other lanes. A lot of people have a hard time paying attention to the map and wont ever realize that your lane is missing.

Finally, learn carry champs. Last season I got from s4 to g5 in about a week playing exclusively Zed. Kat is a good pick right now if you can get her mechanics and timing down. A lot of people won't know how to deal with your reset capability.
