is gaves a good in ranked?
i'm getting goo at all the roles so i have a better chance of rising in rank and wondering if graves is good or do i need a better adc?

Graves is a great pick right now, but I recommend finding a marksman you're comfortable with overall and getting good at them regardless of what's popular. Many times you'll get some great outplays simply because you understand your champion as such a deep level. Good luck out there.
Always play who you are fucking good at ignore the "Meta"
Graves is actually my favorite adc. He has one of the strongest and well balanced kits all around. He has wave clear, great poke, great burst post 6, an auto attack speed steroid, repositioning mechanic, and even a portable fog machine. I say go for it.
A few tips from someone who used to suck at Graves:

He is amazing, so long as you know when to get in range of other people in order to utilize your AoE burst and Quickdraw. Otherwise he is subpar, especially lategame.

BT and a bit of armor together go a long way regarding his tankiness. Ninja Tabi isn't what most people build, but I prefer them over Berserker's Greaves since his goal is to do tons of damage with his kit's initial burst and not having the most DPS. They don't hurt his dueling, either, which is awesome.

If you can stack multiple BF swords early on, you're golden. Brutalizer isn't bad either. Once you have them, even using Buckshot just to harass people from a distance is extremely effective. The primary goal for a Graves build is to end games with 350~400 total AD.

Once you finish your first big item you should start investing in a Zeal. It helps Graves' mobility a lot. Definitely put off lifesteal for this.
Graves is my favorite ADC overall.I may be better at certain others, but he's really strong and fun to play.
