why is galio banned almost every game i'm in?
is he actually strong as fuck cause i don't feel like he is
is he actually strong as fuck cause i don't feel like he is
If it were in Ranked, it's mainly because everyone doesn't want their LP risked by some idiot who's testing out new champions 1st time in a Ranked match.
If it's Normals, same concept for try-hards.
Because people don't want geniuses to try him out at support for the first time in ranked and then suddenly and mysteriously feed.
Base damages are too high.
Because not enough people know how to play with him, against him, or as him yet.
Because he's new and people are generally sick of seeing him/want to ruin it for others that want to play him/don't know what to do against him
I honestly think Galio's legit broken at the moment. Does way too much damage for how tanky he is.
And this is not counting him using his ult to escape (Rek'Sai and Tahm Kench have theirs interrupted for taking damage, yet Galio's special) or his ult damage and CC. I think his base kit is too reliable at giving him damage and tankyness.
he IS strong. but pantheon strong. as in he is super bullshit early game. but falls flat on his face later on
I like to call it new/rework ban syndrome. Sometimes people think a champ is broken when in reality they just dont know the kit yet. Dont get me wrong though there are some releases that do deserve bans . I just dont qualify galio as one personally
If it's in normal, it's because people don't want to learn how to fight him, just like every new champ. Remember when people banned Aurelion Sol?
support op if q is maxed since people are not use to the tornado yet lol
his ults always up, i dont ban him tho.
The Gallo remake is amazing. As AP Mid or AP jungle, his spell s have great base damage and pretty good scaling as well. His ult is also one of the best counter engages... damage reduction, decent damage, amd if you're not terrible, there is no reason to miss his ult knock up unless the use a SS to get out of it or an escape ability. His attacks are easy to avoid, but If his combo does land, expect to be taken down to 20% hp at lvl 2
"Duhhhhhhhhhh, he's new! The rest of the flock is banning him, so I have to as well even if he's not that broken! BaAaaAaaaa! (Sheep sounds)"
Generally how it goes.
He's HIGHLY telegraphed, falls off late game, and is easy to beat early game if you have half a fucking brain. But, just like with Camille (who is also EXTREMELY easy to beat), he'll probably be gutted repeatedly until people pull their head out of their ass.
basically
cons of him being picked by your teamate -risk of him not knowing what to do with galio -risk of your team not knowing how to play with a galio (his strengths) =loss game
cons of him on enemy team
this happens with every new vgu/champion release honestly give it a a couple weeks
