How to stay out of Bronze?

I got out of bronze yesterday. What do I do to never ever go back to that place? My friend was silver last season, and now he's stuck in "elo hell" in bronze, as he says. How far should I climb so I don't get put in bronze after s6 promotional matches

Just play your best every game. Elo hell is a mindset.

Elo hell can happen in any elo. You will eventually get to the elo u belong in. Whether u stay out of bronze depends on your skill, not what u type in the forums.

Why not just shoot for Gold, and leave that rank behind forever? ;)

Any advice on how to get in Bronze? On my smurf i have a hard time losing my games with 0 runes and playing champions for the first time without intentionally feeding. I'm not bragging or anything, i legit want some tips on how to get to Bronze 5 without looking like an obvious intentional feeder.

The biggest thing to remember is rank doesn't matter. Your play does. Comparing bronze to silver is honestly an MMR difference of about 20 (from b1 to s5). The ENTIRE division MMR difference (b1-s1) is about 150, the difference is simply a winning streak. Focus on your play and not the rank and you will find more success

The bad news is you are only out of bronze in name. Your MMR will still be around the same level. So in Silver 5 you are generally still playing with players ranging from Bronze 2 - Silver 4. Maybe getting an outlier. This is also assuming that you've played a fair amount of ranked so your MMR is stable and not still in the settling stage.

Remember, your Tier/Division really only represents your end of season prize placing. Your MMR will determine who you play against. Your MMR goes up when you win, depending on the MMR of your opponents (tougher opponents == greater gains) and lowers the same way (tougher opponents == less losses).

As for how to not get placed there at the beginning of season 6. Just don't worry about that. It depends how hard they reset people, but if you get better during season 5, you will be able to climb back up to your MMR's tier range easily. Just concentrate on your play and getting better and you will be able to stay out of bronze MMR.

It's really hard to drop a tier, you'd have to fall to like the equivalent of bronze 4. Just don't lose like 30 in a row and you're good

1 I find bronze so much easier then silver, yes silver dumber then bronze. 2 elo hell exist in every division. you could be placed at above average elo In that division or lower. if u have enough losing streak u can be demoted from silver
