Mundo initiating?

MUNDO THINK MUNDO IS STRONG. MUNDO CAN SUPPORT, JUNGLE AND KILL PEOPLE IN TOP AND MID LANE. MUNDO CAN EVEN ADC, BECAUSE MUNDO GOES WHERE HE--

Hey. So my usual intro go butchered, but he means well. Still very busy, but Mundo is a really fun champ and I think he is unusually powerful right now due to his massive, consistent percentage damage. They only thing I am not sure how to do with mundo is initiate with him.

Do I just ... run ... at the enemy team with W and my ult going? ... That doesn't really seem like the best initiation in the world. I guess you can pop Randuin's in the middle of it all, but idunno, with teamfights such a heavy emphasis right now, there has to be something better.

Thanks and Mundo is going to help me finish this Psych homework now (Not expecting an A)

Like Arrevax mentioned, Mundo isn't really an initiator. He is the kind of tank/fighter who is more efficient at split pushing really hard with TP up and then TP-ing in once someone engages onto your team. His "Pop R and run at you with cleavers and W" style is much better suited to scaring people off of your team, rather than starting a fight.

Basically, keep in mind that not all tanks/fighters are initiators, Mundo being one of these, along with Garen Nasus Nunu Olaf Renekton Shen Singed Trundle Udyr Yorick These guys are almost universally better at disengaging or counter-engaging a fight, rather than throwing the first punch.

You don't really have to initiate as Mundo... In fact, I don't think Mundo is really capable of a formal "initiation" (CC'ing multiple enemy team members to set up a fight). Just fling cleavers and be ready to do what you can to distract and damage the enemy team (throw cleavers and sit in the enemy team, burning everyone with W) when one of your allies decides to all-in.
