How to handle a slow game as a jungle

depends on the level and how the game went. first few levels, lee is better at everything but if the game really is slow and udyr gets to farm nicely until level 7, he becomes stronger than lee and can control the game good.

but no matter what jungler you are playing, if the game is uneventful and all lanes are very passive because nobody tries to desperately kill his opposing laner, you have to evaluate if that is a good thing for you or not.

if its not a good thing for you, you can look for dives and gank even when you cant kill just to force out a summoner/ultimate and deal damage to the enemy to bring the lanes off balance. this can help your laners to then take more control.

if you are lee sin or any mobile strong jungler like elise, udyr, jarvan skarner etc, you can also look to deny the enemy jungler if he just wants to farm. lets say you play jarvan vs shyvana and you cant really gank lanes very much. if you just farm, you will definitely fall behind in usefullness except if you build full damage, then you can kinda go even until 3 items which is pretty deep into the game allready.

if you dont want to build full damage because thats not what your team needs or so, you can go and deny her farm by just following her around. you dont really need to steal camps, you can just go where she goes and stand there.

if she leaves to the other side, alert your team to ward it and just take the side you are on right now while warding it yourself. this allows you to pressure the enemy jungler alot and either deny their scaling or force enemy laners to make a move outside of their lane which then also imbalances the lanes and opens up new ways for aggression.

for the very most games tho, i would say its definitely favorable for your team to chill until mid or lategame because the more skilled a player is, the more advantage he will be able to inch out with every minute.

if we assume you are better than your enemies (because thats how you gonna climb), you dont want to try and go for risky, cheesy plays but delay the game as long as you need to find these 100% certain plays because your enemies stepped out of line because they feel pressured.

if thats the case and your lanes are uneventful, ward as much as you can for your lanes and countergank the enemy jungler every time. for example, you check your lanes and see which matchup is a good 2on2 for you. if toplane is a 2on2 you can win, you ward everything around bot and mid jungle (including pink) and then farm around top side. if your enemy jungler is no danger for you (you are lvl 9 udyr vs lvl 8 lee sin) you can also then walk into his jungle and contest his camps but be very safe. dont try to force any laners to come or this will throw your game off balance. all you want to do is keep the enemy jungelr in check so your lanes can do their job.

no matter what situation you are in, your enemy jungler is your job and nothing else. control him and you control the game.
