Should I be playing jinx all the time?

I remember playing jinx during her free to play time. I was going on insane kill streaks. If I got an early kill on them I would snowball them. Also if I farmed really well into the mid game I would clean. I look back at this realizing why. I am good with her zap, which is key. I was nailing a lot of good zaps. But her zap does really good damage, she has her Q which is either attack speed buff or attack damage buff. Her E can stun 3 people. She also has a global ult. Why is it that her kit has so much in it yet I don't see her as much.

Why aren't more people playing Jinx? She is very strong in my mind with hard engage.

Aaaaaand you lost me.

The reason why Jinx snowballs so hard is because she fits in the hyper carry subclass of ADCs. All her stats have gigantic multiplications with each other, which doesn't mean much in the super early game but the moment she gets gold (say the first kill of an insane kill streak?) her stats start stacking and exponentially powering each other up. This is also why farming well does well with her.

She's played plenty, you probably just don't see her very much because the current hyper carry of the month is Vayne.

Jinx also has basically zero hard engage. Plenty of soft engage if you land a zap or chain your chompers with someone with actual engage, but Jinx herself has basically no way to actually start fights, at least not without putting herself in immediate danger.

people mostly play bruisers, juggernauts and carries in solo queue which means they'll be diving the enemy rather than peeling for you. this means you end up being stuck alone which makes it super easy for the enemy team to just dive and insta kill you, whereas a vayne or trist has really good self peel with their re-positioning and point and click CC while also scaling hard in to the late game.

Honestly, I mained Jinx and then moved on to another champ. I think she's great personally (stealing baron/drag with her ult is great), but there are other adcs that people like with mobility, such as Vayne and Ezreal.
