Just a PSA about Caitlyn and Vayne.

Stop instalocking thinking she's a counter to . As a vayne main there's nothing i enjoy more than watching you burn every escape possible as soon as i hit lvl 6. And the watch you become a liability once midgame team fights start happening since you do no damage unless you're 7-0 before 15 minutes.

But on a serious note, here's why this is a bad idea.

1. You need to be thinking outside the first 7-10 minutes of the game.

Just because you have long range dosen't mean you counter someone. if that were the case Caitlyn would counter 80% of adcs since most of them have 550 range anyway. Any decent vayne will tumble around every Q you fire or sidestep it. Also, if vayne has a support with a heal that makes Caitlyn even less effective. think about the team before you pick this abysmal adc. The only way you can "counter vayne" with the champ is if you you're poking vayne EVERYTIME she's trying to take cs. Force her to make the choice of hitting you back, or taking free harass for gold. some of you don't even know how to do this regardless of what adc you're playing. 2. Caitlyn's mid and late game are REALLY BAD (compared to other adcs) and this is where Vayne leaves you in the dust.

Caitlyn is one of the few adcs with no steroids AND low base stats so after that "glorious" laning phase of hers she becomes absolutely useless unless she's fed. I feel that her Q should have a little less damage fall-off when going through creeps but that's just me. building Ghostblade after your IE would help her midgame alot. It gives armor pen, a decent steroid, crit chance, and cooldown reduction, all stats that Caitlyn can use. Also the item is very cost efficient so if you're going even with Vayne you can have it done before she finishes phantom dancer. 3. There are SO MANY better counters to Vayne.

Playing against caitlyn, i despise her having a poke support as well, or someone vayne has problems against such as Soraka, Thresh, Sona(OMG SONA DX), Nami, Leona, supports that have strong early games and make killing caitlyn or trying an all-in VERY hard. If you insist on playing Caitlyn, then make sure you know what you're doing first. All i'm sayin.

I'm still trying to find a build that will make her relevant but it's hard since shes just so outclassed by alot of adcs ):
