Why the hell is nasus allowed to Q structures?

I know he's supposed to be strong as hell late game but once he gets like 300 or so stacks (which doesn't take long at all) he can 3 shot a tower. Other champions with MUCH less powerful abilities (Rengar specifically but we all know riot hates rengar with a passion so w/e) can't Shred towers so why can he? It should at least be capped at a certain point. He's near unstoppable enough as it is.

Play him and you'll find out. He's got some huge weaknesses. Having tower damage keeps him relevant. Riot has stated this before.

Ill give u a +1 since i play nasus and as much as ppl are making this a hate thread, Nasus is easily screwed over if the littlest things happen

Maybe because Knifecat is meant to assassinate champions while Susan is supposed to split-push like a monster?

Just sayin'

Full tank with infinitely stacking damage that can be used on towers, but rengars Q was too good against them so we made it so that wouldn't do dmagae to towers.

What annoys me is that Nasus doesn't even need a minion wave to destroy a tower. He can just facetank it and get out with 80% HP, while Rengar actually needs a wave considering how squishy he is.

Sigh.....these two champions couldn't be more different. Rengar is a stealth assasin that has a free escape making his split push toxic. Nasus has nothing. He also doesn't have Nasus' huge early game weaknesses. Nasus needs the extra tower damage to keep his lane in check. Remember, he's being used as a punching bag the entire early game. In most cases he can't even use the tower damage till mid game. If he didn't have it his lane opponent could just wonder the map and dive people without consequences since they've likely destroyed two of Nasus' lane towers already and has his team ahead. The fact that you can't see the disparity here is unreal.

really wanted to stop reading, but i didnt. please dont use buzzwords

Nasus has nothing.

you heard it here first folks nasus has nothing. no abilities to help him escape, just nothing

He also doesn't have Nasus' huge early game weaknesses.

>implying Rengar early game in lane isnt bad

maybe a shitty nasus lets 2 towers die before he does anything. and considering how well every other champ in the game fairs in the taking towers department without having nasus q i think its safe to say this is a terrible exaggeration

The fact that you can't see the disparity here is unreal.

and there it is, if u want people to take you seriously dont casually insult the person ur talking to

This. So many people discredit Rengars role on a team once he builds item 3071 item 3022 item 3156 item 3143 item 3065 or whatever your flavour is and automatically assume he is going to tank the team as hard as farmed nasus can. Not going to happen on a duelist like him.

Rengar's Q used to hit towers.

But he was litteraly 2-shotting towers, not exagerating, his empowered Q + another Q was just too brutal.

The same reason attack speed steroids work on structures. One steroid type isn't healthier than another.

Because he would be a worthless champion if his Q didn't work on structures. Literally any champion with decent waveclear would stop his split pushing very easily.

Nasus by and large is, in my opinion, not a healthy champion for the game. I feel like both how he succeeds and how the enemy shuts him down both support a really negative gameplay experience. Want to succeed as Nasus? Don't interact with your team and farm up until you're unstoppable. Want to succeed vs Nasus? Focus team's attention on shutting him down and making his life miserable. Deny him farm and he's useless and just wasted 20+ minutes of his life. I guess I just don't think he's fun or interactive.

Thats his signature move tho, GATES

Cause if Nasus can 1 shot towers the game probably went on too long. Rengar can do it early than Nasus and quicker

i Just wanna know why Nasus (Susan) is still a valid champion :}

Because Veigar and Thresh are. Infinite stacking is healthy. =)

I've been just asking Riot for the past few years to just make Nasus's Wither a stun. Because at max level with a few items, the toggle is practically always on, making Nasus impossible to fight against one on one. I really hate this guy. Hate him more than Kalista, Vayne, and yes everyone, Ekko.

Why the hell is Wukong able to? Why the hell is Trundle able to? Why is Rengar allowed to get the attack reset?

It's because it is an ability that resets the attack timer.

Instead of complaining about Nasus being able to do that, you should be complaining that Riot made the towers complete shit and now we're back to Season 4 where split pushing champs, like Nasus, are gods again. Not only that, but Tryndamere and Shaco are getting played a lot more now, and that's REALLY not a good thing.
