Seeking help

I've been playing league for about a year now and as painful as it is to admit it: I really suck. I can't get the hang of early last hitting, my decision making is very poor and I just feel stuck. I watch streams a little, but a can't always do this because of time restraints. Right now I'm bronze four and am trying to climb out. I play Quinn/Renekton top, ahri mid(very rarely), sona supp, and sometimes Warwick jg. (Yes, I know this is a small list and I really would like to master these champs before picking up new ones). I would greatly appreciate anything that could help me or anyone trying to get better and is reading this. Thanks.

To become a better player, you need to remember this;

  1. Never flame others
  2. Always focus on yourself and your game
  3. Always go for objectives (baron, drake, turrets,) , kills aren't important as these.
  4. No one became pro for a night, so, you must practice and practice normals.
  5. Train last hitting on custom without runes/ masteries/ items for 10 minutes. Write down your score, do it again.
  6. In Bronze, the way to carry, is to push. People usually aren't focusing on mini map. Just split push and BUY WARDS. It's worth even if you die but destroyed turret, but be sure it doesn't happen so often.
  7. Mute all the f***ers.
  8. Watch tutorials on how to play the lane you want. Learn how to freeze the lane, when to push, when to roam. You can all of that find on youtube.

Good luck man, I'm gold V so maybe there is something wrong what I wrote above but I hope it helped. Hope you get out of bronze asap.

P.S. Try to not give a f about losing games on ranked and make a pause when you get in losing streak of 3 games. And yeah, elo hell doesn't exist. It's just excuse.

The best way i can think of is to learn how not to through a lead. I say this as a Zed main and if u learn this you can almost win or come out even during laning phase. Now to elaborate, most people dont realize when they have a lead in lane or how to keep their lead so here is what i do to ensure i win lane.

  1. be cautious of the jungler- for a role that is meant to help the lanes who are behind this person will be ur enemy, as long as u know where he is ur fairly safe aside from other lanes roaming- this does not mean u have to buy alot of wards and ward deep into their jungle this just means dont be suprised if u finaly see a chance to kill ur lane opponent then suddenly u get ganked
  2. Know ur champ and ur enemies- this will come with time or alot of dedication or perhaps u just have an insane memory, and this does not mean just their abilities this means their cd, their sustain, their dmg, know ur champs counters and what makes them strong. ( i love playing against zeds counters (EX:Fizz Malzahar) because i learned what makes them counter and i learned to avoid and to "counter the counter")
  3. Stay 2 steps ahead- most people forget that league is also concidered a strategy game, if u can predict what their next move will be then that gives u an extreme advantage and "godlike powers" EX: Madlife, but also dont worry about it if u cant this takes time and can sometimes hurt u more than help u
  4. Keep playing- what u get out of ranked is equal to the amount of effort u put in it, most people in bronze could easily get out if they just keep playing, i got out of bronze with a 45% win ratio even tho i was losing the majority of my games there is still the chance u can go on a winning streak and BOOM ur in silver
  5. Elo hell- i believe it does exist but not in the way most people think, what i consider elo hell is a personal wall u cant pass, if u focus on the problem and figure what will fix it not what is causing it this might help even tho u might need one to get the other.
  6. Champions- it really doesnt matter what champ u play in bronze/silver or possibly gold it mainly depends on ur mechanics and thought proccess for example the champ that haunts my dreams when they are on my team is bard because most people dont know how to play him or they are just generally bad at league and that could possibly get me killed a couple of times but in higher skill level games he can carry a whole team and win team fights almost single handidly so just get ur mechanix down and ur good P.S. good luck with ranked im currently Silver 4 but moving up steadily
