3rd Party Software Ban?

Earlier today I got an email stating that my account got perma-banned for using a 3rd party software that gave me an unfair advantage, I can only assume that they are talking about scripting but I have never used any cheat for league since I started playing at the end of season 4. Is there any other software that would flag riot for cheating. I have already submitted a ticket to riot trying to get my account back. Is there any real hope for it or will I have to lose all the time and money I put into my account .

From what I have read on another thread, if you have Replay, that is considered 3rd party and a bannable offense. I am not saying you do. I am just stating what I have seen on another thread.

Same thing happened to me last night. Unable to get anything out of riot customer service other then a canned response. My account is over 3 years old, has 20 rune pages and over 100 champions. Extremely frustrated right now.
