I find as a Jungle main, I like to buy a lot of wards every time I back, just so we get some vision. In the entirety of the game, not including pinks, I believe i spend well over 800 gold in wards. Would it be more beneficial to just buy a sight stone instead? Not only will it give me a little more survivability, but it's a set of 4 free wards every time i back.
Just curious as to your opinions. Thank you. Let me know what you guys do as well.
If you are on anything that would also make use of the health (basically any fighter or tank that doesn't need huge early game damage) then I would say it's a great investment, since after using 8 charges (2 backs worth) you will have payed back for 600 gold in wards. as the game goes on, it saves you even more if you keep your ward count maxed at all times (usually I get around 60-70 wards over a game if I get support or jungle, and that means roughly 50-60 were from sightstone, for about 4.5k gold saved). not only does it save you gold, it often helps you ward more too, since instead of not having gold to purchase wards on any given back, you always get 4 no matter what.
I really like the fact of players in the LCS using a sightstone. But in normals, I really do recommend it, on every jungler because it gives you so much help to your team, and gets you coverage around the map, which helps you win games and create picks of course. It's just your option, but I really like vision.

I will continue to buy my sight stones. What do you do late game, if the game lasts that long. Most of the time I find myself wanting to sell it, but i lose out on space so i can't buy wards. Should i just keep it and buy elixers?
