Champions that are good or SoloQ

Honestly, that depends on YOU. People develop affinities with certain champions, and their abilities come more naturally. Find the character that feels natural to play, and even from the support position you can learn to carry games. It won't be through sheer damage output, but rather through leadership, vision, and setting up good engages. If you think kills are how you "carry games", you are very sadly mistaken.

I play mostly jungle, and mostly Sejuani at that. I typically carry my team. They sit behind the immovable object that is "Raid Boss" Sejuani, and they wait for me to force a fight. If I make a good engage and use my abilities to lock down the right targets, we win. If all goes right, I don't get a bunch of kills, but my team does, and most of us get out alive.

Example (though I was "lucky enough" to get a lot of killing blows). Find what works for YOU. Find 2 roles you love, and at least 2 champions for each of those roles. Learn them inside and out. You will carry if you are actually GOOD with the champion, and honestly, I can't think of a single champion that's not true with.

Annie and ahri for mid mages since that other dude missed em both safe and easy to use. Ahri's being banned sometimes but Annie's usually always up. You can really carry with Annie.
