Zilean ADC? (Not trolling, promise!!)

Hey there, MF here.

So, real quick: Would Zilean ADC make any sort of sense? It's definitely snapping the meta over your knee, but let's look at this for a moment:

-->Only two skills scale from AP, so going AD isn't that much of a waste (And you have two skills that function fine.)

-->Is normally a support, meaning you can carry yourself if you need to / combine CC with your support

-->Has a surprisingly good range of 600 (Higher than every other ADC except for Caitlyn, Jinx (With Fishbones) A high leveled Tristana, Kog'Maw with high leveled Bio-Arcane Barrage and Twitch, but only while he is ulting.)

-->Can use fairly constant Trinity force procs (Q/E --> Q/E --> R --> W --> Q/E --> Q/E -- 6 Trinity Forces Procs when maxed rank)

-->A 5.5 second 55% movement speed buff AND OR a debuff. Can be maintained constantly with variable levels of W and E.

-->Can raise himself FROM THE DEAD. Can do it TWICE if you buy a Guardian Angel at some point.

-->Can farm like a champ later on with QWQ and Static Shiv procs.

What do you think? Do I let the beard grow for No-Shave-November and put some AD quints on Zilean? Has anyone tried this reasonably before?

You'd get wrecked 1v1 against any champion in the game, minus supports. Even some supports could wreck you.

How do you figure?

Your kit has 0 AD ratios. Meaning any champion using their kit properly have more going for them, and will be able to out-duel you, since you also have no stuns/heals (assuming equal farm). Your ultimate is useful, but it also scales with AP. You respawn with 1.1k health (at full rank) and get instagibbed again without landing an AA.

Not to mention, as an adc you need to worry about yourself the most, but zilean's ulti tends to be a very support-heavy ultimate, meaning you need to focus on whats going on elsewhere in teamfights as well.

And as was mentioned before, your attack animation is awful, meaning farming will be quite hard early game.

I respect all of these thoughts. However, Tristana is much the same way -- She has a mega AS steroid, of course, but nothing else scales. Zilean has at least that much in worth with a revive, slows, speed ups and almost constant Trinity Force procs.

You got me with the AA animation, though.
