Good mixed/burst damage items? For Bard especially?

Got Bard. Loving him, but, boy, is he hard. The fact that I can screw up and CC my team and the progressively slower travel time of my ult is tricky, to say the least. But I can tell he's got some serious power. Having gotten more kills than my fellow laners quite a few times using support Bard, his power, when built properly, is clear.
With that as my core on support Bard (And wards, or course) where might I go from here? I've been building Rageblade to some affect, having AD, AP and AS, but I feel like that is where he levels out. Maybe there isn't much more burst to get on him? Because that was his main issue -- nothing to contribute to teamfights. However, with 3-4 meeps hitting everyone, a stun hitting 2 people, a static shiv going off and a lich bane proc or two, he does SERIOUS damage. Surprising damage.
Perhaps a Luden's Echo?

could be useful for when the enemy team has a lot of tanking potential. Since Bard seems to be reliant on AA's, they could be useful :)
Great item in general, and it could be useful on Bard, since he can travel long distances to get the stacks up. My only issue with Luden's on Bard is that he doesn't really use spells rapidly, and only his Q can proc it.
