Toxic, support and you

Taking the advice of the first comment:

Game Example: Oriana (me) - 0/7/5 - Wards - 28 (next highest in the game was Leona on the other team with 15) Draven - 7/9/3 Hecarim - 5/10/2 Wards - 2

Game went with Drave and I winning our lane and then getting 4 and 5v1'd under tower while Hecarim died to Gromp, twice. We offered ways for Hecarim to recover and to aid us by warding and counter ganking but his only replies were toxic and along the lines of "You're 0/7 hahaha, why would I listen to you?"

KDA, I think is completely meaningless on a support that's behind. It's almost entirely dependent on how the rest of the team helps them recover. There's no chance I'm gonna 1v1 anyone.

We were trying to be helpful. To get him to recover and give us a chance at winning as a team. But he was so toxic, all we could do was ignore him in the end because he thought he was doing BETTER than us. It's just severely frustrating when people ignore good advice because they come from someone who is behind. Draven and I were both very good but their team was VERY coordinated and ganked very well whereas our team didn't and ALL this guy could do was blame other people for his obvious failure.

Thinking about all this though I've noticed that very few Junglers know how to recover when behind. Would appreciate a couple links for good JG videos where a jungler gets behind early (maybe cause they died to gromp or got shaco'd at level one while they tried to get their first buff) so that I can help them more. I'm a support, I like playing support. Anything I can do to help my team win is what I like to do and I'd like to know how to help this Hecarim better or at least know there's just nothing that can be done.

TL:DR - Don't spit in your supports face by quoting KDA to them when they're trying to help you and the team. Their stats are very dependent on how the rest of the team is doing.

Reported him for failure to communicate but I don't even know if that's the right way to do it. I'm just certain that he made it completely impossible to win because he was sooo behind as the JG and never counter ganked.

This sounds like more of a rant with some parts of tips in it, I suggest removing your whole 'experience' and just tell us what your point is.

I saw one question in there regarding junglers that get behind and how to deal with it. The answer is simple, farm up. Smite your wolves to clear blue side safely and keep vision control in the red side. If a wave crashes into a tower, mop it up. Only gank strong lanes where you have a low chance of dying.

It has to be said though that there's jungle champs out there that have a really difficult time doing anything when behind like xin zhao. Many junglers are typical melee initiation champs that suck if they can't win a 1v1.

You probably played just as bad as he did but you're sitting here blaming him for the game just as he was blaming/being toxic towards you in the game. lol. And you could also have made the game more winnable by not dying 7 times. I understand you lost lane and was getting tower dived but you have to change your playstyle when those sort of things happen. You don't just continuously go back to your lane that is getting destroyed and just wait for enemy tower dives, you have to either group mid or just roam. If you lose lane, you should die 3 times max, anymore deaths is just you being careless.
