Malzahar
Okay, so I've recently bought Malz and want your guys' opinion on this build.

is a MUST buy.
I tried other mana stuff, like
, but ROA works the best hands down and is the #1 item purchased by almost every Malz user in the game (lolking.net).
Exchange the boots, you don't need c/d. If you need c/d, you're playing him wrong. You need to time your skills so your ult takes presidence... Go default
instead and always
at the end game.
is situational. Rush it if your opponents start stacking health.
I ALWAYS rush
now directly after RoA. It not only provides you w/ protection against those rare instances you would die, but also guarantees your k/d stays high and provides the added mid-game power you need.
is good and if you're enemy team is going tanky,
+
melts any defense.
I rush
if I'm doing extremely well. If not, I usually either get it or never get it at all since
is my usual go-to end-game item. I know Rabadon has great scaling w/ Malz, but
+
is my usual end-game build since no opponent can chase you, nor can they run away and it usually 1 hit ko's w/ ult + E & minion.
Some of the items are situational, but for the most part that's a solid build. All you gotta do is max your E and there's no stopping you. It's not as efficient, but I like to substitute Rod of Ages for Will of the Ancients to get the spell vamp. It's fun to watch your health slowly crawl up as you clear out 3 minion waves. :D
I normally go no cdr on Mal at all, so I get the total 30 Magic Pen with da boots. Combined with Mal's pool, tanks stand no chance at all. But I have to wonder but how many voidlings can you get out at once with the extra 15%? I might try that myself then.
Also, I build a more tanky Malhazar, so I go for Rylais instead of voidstaff. The slow works splendidly with all his abilities allowing him to kite better while voidlings pick them off.
