What an interesting past week this has been so many unviable champions are coming back more or less. Let's hope this stays.

Seeing some surprisingly good comments here. I'll add a couple thoughts
A lot of them just try to main the most versatile champs because mastery > niche picks in some cases. If you play Zed 10 hours a day every day, there isn't much incentive to branch out.
The pro scene doesn't really determine viability, it just shows what the upper bound of champ power is in the pro meta

Hecarim, Olaf, Nunu, Sejuani, Twisted Fate, Mundo, Veigar, Jax, Vlad, Gragas, Udyr.....they have all been played this season already and it's still very very early. This is, by far, the healthiest the meta has ever been.
I just hope this game won't change into tank wars.

Diversity? Let me say this again because some dont get it. The LCS is RANKED 5's queue. Stop using what is viable in ranked 5's to decide what is viable in solo queue. You wanna play Naut support? Go ahead, but the second your adc dies, its gonna be something like "noob support been watching too much lcs" and team morale is now blown apart and good luck winning after that. How about instead of watching what others do, you play what you like and can play good with. You know, kinda like how korea always tries new shit that other regions copy at a later point? Or when Druiddroid proxy farmed singed so hard all the way to diamond (and even though he may have finished games 0/30/0, he put so much pressure on the map his team took free objectives all game) that riot had to buff minions if they hadnt passed turret yet.....get creative plebs and stop being sheep.
