Hey there, Master Fledgling here!

This one is for a buddy, actually. Sorta. Anyways. Brand's passive is sweet -- percentage damage from each spell, each spell on a rather low cooldown? That sounds like that is a champ begging to be made into a monster tank with 40% CDR, and perhaps even a blade of the ruined king for even more percent damage.

I am BulkBrand -- Look upon me and despair, top laner.

And, for that matter, the fact that he can do such consistent damage with or without AP or anything, really, means he'd be a lovely jungler (Sustain items plz) or support, especially with that delicious 2 second stun.

wouldn't building magic pen be better than bork? unlike vel'koz, brand's passive does magic damage, so it can be mitigated. i can't remember if tanky cdr vel'koz worked, but it'd be pretty much the same concept. i don't think your golf swing will improve from trying this

tanky cdr vel koz worked, just because he is good at kiting (whatever actualy managed to reach him didnt manage to drop him)

I put spell vamp on Brand sometimes, if the enemy has a tanky dps champ. In these builds I would put Rylai and Lindry's with a Morello and Zhonya. Will of Ancient's and DFG. In those situations I've been able to sustain myself enough through the consistant magic dmg and makre use of being able to live through several spell rotations to face melt. It's not faceroll easy op strat nerf now pls just something inconspicuous I've had fair success with, and more importantly, I found it fun. I was still burst down in a few cases and in some outplayed in an extended fight, but overall our team won and both teams had a fair discussion in after chat instead of instant leaves and flamers. But those were for the next game!
