Well, I enjoy playing Ziggs. But, I;m not a very good mid laner.. I more less "main" top lane.. I would hope that someone on here could give me some tips when trying to play ziggs top? Maybe give me a build i could use?? Anything would be appreciated. 
yordles are evil
pretty much every mid laner is evil for that matter

Largely depends on your particular playstyle. If you're harassing with auto-attacks often, then perhaps it would be a good idea to pick up a Sheen to give it some extra oomph. If you prefer hanging back out of your opponent's range entirely, then you can probably just build flat damage. You could also try building a Catalyst into Rod of Ages later, in order to get that long-term sustain to help you match your opponent.
Personally, I dont like mages in top lane
unless they are like Ryze and Lissandra
they require good disengage and cheap mp cost
and some form of oppressive and consistent damage.. also on a cheap mp cost
EVEN MORE IMPORTANT, in top lane than mid lane
mid lane got squishy mages with no sustain, top laners are beefy fkers with sustain
probably will be a good idea
