Need some all-around advice

Okay, so before I begin, this isn't a thread with me complaining about how I should be ranked higher or whatever. It's actually the opposite. I feel like I should be ranked lower. I've been playing for 3 or 4 months and my first season placed me in silver when I won 4/10 provisionals and didn't really do good in any of them. I think the highest grade I got was maybe a B? Now, I'm at a place where all I feel I can really do is feed. I don't want to sit here and beg for mercy, because obviously I did something right if I got in silver, but I'm kind of at a loss. What can I do better? (I think everyone can see my ranked games, right?)

focus on the basics play easy champions work on farming, map awareness, remebering champion damage outputs and work on remebering small details about games where you could get better. This game is about (besides mechanics) how much you know and how many little bits of knowledge and advantages you can stack up to make one massive knowledge/advantage fest

I think that if you want to improve, you have to continue to play. And not just play normals, but play ranked games.

I just got to Silver after being stuck in Bronze for hundreds of games this season. Previous seasons, I was in silver easy, so I follow what you are saying: maybe you just got lucky, maybe you did something right.

The stronger the opposition, the more you can learn. Think about Cloud Nine after they breezed into first place during their first LCS split. They crushed teams so badly that they weren't sure how to improve their play. That might seem good, but the reality is that it did nothing to prepare them for worlds. Meanwhile, the other LCS teams improved a lot because they were facing strong opposition.

So maybe you were lucky or maybe you did something right, but either way, if you think the opposition is tough, then you have an opportunity. Use that opportunity.

If you just reached 30, play a LOT of normals.

Just play norms for the season, and get back into ranked in season 6.
