Crazy new strategies

I was wondering if anyone had any cool ideas to try out. Anything is welcome, whether its stuff like AD Crittlesticks or the support with smite. I'm looking forward to all the fun, crazy stuff you can come up with!

I love off the wall stuff like this!

My favorite one that I came up with is doing Leona/Wukong bot lane. The first few levels are rough but once you hit 3 you can bully the shit out of the standard marksman/support bot lane.

I recently had an idea of full tank jungle Fiddlesticks, but I haven't tried it out yet.

Since Fiddlesticks already has enough CC in his kit to make him useful if he doesn't build damage and some sustain to keep him alive in fights, he could potentially make for a really strong tank that survives quite a long time in teamfights, especially considering how strong Cinderhulk is. This also doesn't factor in how strong Crowstorm is as an engage ability.

The problem with Fiddlesticks as a tank is that he is relatively squishy compared to other tanks that use Cinderhulk (especially with his lack of scaling MR), and a lot of his engage potential and sustain both need ability power to make really strong, but I think these problems are small enough that the strengths of the idea would work, but work so well that there aren't clear weaknesses.

A funny build I like playing sometimes in teambuilder is CA$he...basicly play Ashe with enough GP10 runes (seals/quints) to get +5GP10...then rush the crit item that builds into static shiv 1st, which puts you at +8 GP10 and procs and additional +2 gold per CS making you gain +5 GPCS With hawkshot. Then farm farm farm...

You can also go deeper in utility tree for the other gold related masteries for more Lulz, but it hurts your DPS even more than the sub optimal runes. Still it's funny how fast you can accumulate gold with this build if you play safe and farm with a good support.

One of those "weird" comps that seems effective on bot lane is Morgana + Lux. I faced it once 2 seasons ago in a game. Those guys were premades and they knew what they were doing. Their ability synergy is incredible. If you are a hard engage support you have no chance against that combo (was playing Leona as i recall) while your adc is completely zoned out unless he/she wants to get poked all time. Basically not even the jungler can help out, because of Morg's shield + both of their Qs and Lux slow on E.

Needless to say i had lost that game and got a tons of reports from my angry teammates xD

You could try the Shyvana top TP/Smite

My friends and I do a lot of this stuff in our ranked 5's.

Typically we'll put a ranged character (sometimes adc, sometimes ranged mage) top. Our bot lanes are always off the wall. One that we really enjoy is pantheon/shen.

You have two characters with hard cc, tankiness and some burst. Shen q-e onto adc, pantheon q-w-e follow up, ignite if you need to and you'll either get first blood or heal/flash/recall. Congrats you just won the laning phase. I also like this setup because post-6 you have so much global pressure with shen and panth ults.

with the heavy bruiser meta right now, there is a curve-ball choice for mid: AP Nasus it's hard to figure out...and there needs to be more of an exploration into the match-ups...but AP Nasus could be exactly what you are looking for. He has a long range aoe poke that bursts and then burns anyone in it (equal to the amount of the burst if they are in it the whole time)...AND it shreds armor.

Now envision a team fight. Your adc and your top are probably ad...and chances are that your jung is too, (best case scenario would be if top and jung were also tanky). Throwing down an E not only damages more than one of your enemies, but anyone who steps in it (and it lasts 1-sec after they are out of it) will have reduced armor (-20 at lvl1, -40 at lvl5).

Say goodnight to the other team. They took your burst and you took their armor...so your team can clean up the mess.

I like support Twisted Fate for several reasons. Aside from solid damage (if you need it) he has a good, reliable, targeted stun, or an area slow, and provides himself good mana sustain and a global presence with his ult.

One I've seen but never used is Morg + Kat bottom. The pair have a good synergy and a steady power climb, relative safety from ganks with Black Shield and Shunpo, and a massive all-in at level 6.

try full atk speed braum, combo his passive with bork passive and you have a real manly man that can back his adc or take on the carry himself if the ad carry roams.

Also shaco top is fun and fresh.

Full team goes tank.

Malphite top, Vi jungle, Sion supp, Kalistadc, Cho Gath Mid.

Then 5 ZZ rot portals.

Well I wouldn't call them new strategies. After five seasons, most everyone has been tried at one point or another, but there are still good non-meta comps that can be fun.

While ADCs are usually peeled, it can be fun to run a full-on Protect The Carry team comp. Yorick top, Zilean mid, Janna support - two "revives" and Janna's Shield/Ult means you can really let your Vayne/Draven/Jinx run wild while you keep them alive.

Bot lane has a lot of comp options, if you are working together. Pick any two champions with hard CC, and you can make it work. Pantheon + Leona = Stunned for days. Or Ashe + Lissandra = Power of the Freljord - constant slows, and level 6 is a guaranteed kill with those two ults on one enemy.

For Urf I found a lot of enjoyment running Xin/Kalista lanes. Its a good choice if your team needs some AD damage output.

Support Anivia is not something you see often but something I find a decent amount of success doing. Works best with a Vayne ADC. List of stuff you can teleport onto that you may not already know: Jarvan's flag, Thresh's lantern, Rek'sai's tunnels, Malzahar's voidlings, Elise's spiders, Heimerdinger's turret, Teemo's mushroom & Zyra's plants to name a few.

Shen has amazing synergy through his ultimate with the following champions: Nocturne, Twisted Fate & Pantheon. They also have amazing synergy with one another. Twisted Fate's ultimate gives sight of all enemy champions. Nocturne can only ult onto champions he can see. Nocturne's ultimate decreases the sight range of all enemy champions which helps Pantheon "man leap" onto enemy's without alerting them with the big giant circle that usually pops up. And Shen just shields them all and makes map presence really strong on your team.
