In need of a top laner

I have 4k IP and can't decide. I play Ori, Malzahar, Xin Zhao, Janna, Fiddles, Ashe. Most of my picks are on to the utility or backline side. Problem is most top laners are front lane or dive-based, whom I tend to avoid because my concentration tends to break in teamfights.

You could save up for lulu, she is fairly good in a solo lane and can also flex support. Otherwise, Morgana is a little cheaper and similar to lulu in that she has a strong solo lane and can be played support.

AP Bruiser Alistar is my favorite utility top laner. You can play him as either a tanky initiator or more support-like and simply peel enemies off your carries. All you have to do is learn his few basic combos and how to hit E over and over really fast and you're all set.

My usual build is often: Start item 1056 or item 1054 + pots, or if against a bully item 2041 + pots.

After that, build item 3010>item 3027 (If you can finish it by 15 minutes) or sit on it and get item 3800 mid game, then get boots and item 3116 and item 3136 into either item 3065 or item 3110 depending on your matchup, followed by the other defensive item and then item 3151. You can always replace Liandry's with a more defensive item, but I just love getting into the enemy team, spamming E, and dealing ~75 DPS to everyone around me while applying a 4% current health per second burn to boot.

It depends on your style. Based off the champions you play i would say Lissandra, Lulu, Morgana, and Vladimir would be good since they play like the champs you listed but can be effective top. A lot of people feel that top lane has to be tanks but that isnt true. Especially with tank junglers and support Nautilus being so effective. You just have to look at your team comp and decide what is best for the team but also a champion YOU can be effective with. Remember that it doesn't matter if you pick an OP if you don't know how to play it. IF your dead set on pick up a tank champion that can play poke Mundo works well and u really only have to press R then W and run on top of the enemy to be effective.
