Hi I'm new to League of Legends and MOBAs in general, I joined LOL about a month ago and I recently hit level 20. My main question is what masteries should I run with if I'm interested in jungling? And what runes should I run with.

Roaranor2 votesThe masteries you run depend on which champions you're wanting to play, so that would require a bit of research. I suggest reading through and understanding what each does, then looking for specific mastery pages for champions you like to play (you'll notice some slight differences with overarching patterns). A standard is 21-9 for offensive, 9-21 for defensive.

Anything beyond these rune pages are specific to a champion or role, but these two as your first two will cover pretty much every champion as a standard.

ccseancc1432 votesI actually believe there are 3 main rune pages you need:
AD champs 9 Armor Penetration Marks 9 Armor Seals 9 Magic Resist Glyphs 3 Attack Damage Quints
AP champs 9 Magic Penetration Marks 9 Armor Seals 9 Magic Resist Glyphs 3 Ability Power Quints
ADC/Jungle 9 Attack Speed Marks (I usually run attack damage) 9 Armor Seals 9 Magic Resist Glyphs 3 Attack Damage Quints (I usually run attack speed)
For the adc/jg page I have I usually run attack damage marks and attack speed quints but its easier and cheaper if you reuse the attack damage quints from your AD page. I feel these are the 3 most basic generic rune pages that will work with a majority of champions. This are my rune pages.
