What are some good tips to avoiding tunnel vision in your games?

I've noticed that when I playing in a match I chase kills ALOT, even if I remind myself at the beginning of the match not to I'll slip up chase a low health enemy and proceed to get gangbanged. What are some things you do to keep yourself focused on the game objectives?

When I chase someone, I always look at the map to see which way the enemy and I are going. If they cross the river, that immediately raises a red flag. If they stop moving for ANY amount of time, even 1/4 of a second, assume it's bait. If the enemy goes into the jungle and is covered by FoW, assume they don't exist.

Honestly the biggest thing to remember is that it's a team game and not a death match. If your team is not with you, you shouldn't be chasing anyone.

All I can say is continue to practice and tell your teammates to ping like crazy if they notice you over extending.

Mainly just pay attention to where you are going, where your teammates are, and where the enemy/enemies are going. If the enemy is heading towards an area where you have something; an ally, minions, or even just wards, you're pretty safe to head there. Otherwise, be sure to have backup or just leave.

if you have locked camera, unlock it. That change increased my map awareness by at least 50% in only a couple matches.
