Placement in my provisionals, Help!

Well, I know thats wrong for sure lol.. My friend was silver 5 or 4, and he won 6/10 and he got placed in s2. So yeah.

Previous seasons your Placement matches were everything; you could get a very high spot when you didn't have MMR anywhere close to deserving it. Now it is based almost entirely on your MMR, so if you sucked, your placement sucks, plus everyone is getting dropped a little by default because that is the purpose of a new season.

Then how was my friend in S5 or S4 and got placed in s2? lol Not being rude really, but he is very bad. Im bad as well haha, I get that. But when I play games with him, he just kinda brings them down. (Not being salty or toxic either! He's still my friend) Anyway he won 6/10 as well and placed in s2. And I dont think my mmr was that low really. Right before the season ended I got around 4 penta kills within 2 days. And ended up climbing even higher in pre season, if that helps at all. I always go positive, my creep score is usually the highest, depending on what role/champion of course. So I believe it should be low enough to be put in bronze. I've played with a lot of gold players and even a diamond actually!! But he was worse than a silver player so im guessing he was elo boosted/bought the account. Lol

It is true I'm salty, however I do know what I'm talking about. my MMR was gold 4/5, my actual rank was S2 in promo's to S1 because of a bad day in S1 (it happens). I hovered in S1 for about 2 months, but really a tad over a month as my PC was down a few weeks of that with several attempts at Gold promos. I won my first 4 placements and lost the last 6 due to some of the most bizarre matchmaking I've seen since I started playing. This should be irrelevant if what you say is true, however I still got slammed into Bronze 1. Which is absolutely stupid because my match history and stats show I'm way above bronze 1. I likewise know a large number of people with similar stats to me who got stuck anywhere from bronze 1 all the way down to bronze 3. The only ones I know who ended up where they were last season went 8/10 or 10/10. Anything less then that you can expect to be heavily demoted. It is literally easier to level up and place on a fresh account then it is to climb out of any level of bronze or probably even silver V at this point.

Nothing you could buy with real money would affect your game grinding, except maybe a new champ? Using your money on LoL is for vanity purposes really, other than a rune page thats all it is. Lol
