Warding and Jungle Camps

Just thought I'd share a few thoughts for laners taking camps (no, this is not a QQ thread) and vision.

  1. Once mid-game rolls around, and depending on how much of an advantage your team has, the chicken camp is the most valuable camp to your jungler. That smite buff is valuable for denying vision, even if the support and jungler has sweeper lens. Because of how it works, you can locate wards that aren't necessarily in the most obvious spots, and eliminate them. They're also valuable for ganking mid, because if the buff activates as you approach the buff, you can try the other side without the midlaner realizing what you're doing. Take krugs, wolves (if your jungle isn't being dominated), a buff if you're the correct role or your jungler no longer needs it, or even frog if your jungler doesn't need it. Even better, just steal the enemy's camps.

  2. If your jungler is the type to buy a lot of wards, especially for your lane, consider buying a ward or two if he/she lets you take your camps. If you just need gold for an item, try to prioritize your cs (and freeze the lane if you don't want to push) and don't ignore minion waves right next to you in favor of a camp (seen this so much). Take both if you need to, but prioritize the minions. Oh yeah, and buy wards and help your jungler out. Really helps, believe me. It frustrates me if I buy the most wards and only get barely more than half of my own jungle camps, which sets me behind on two fronts. Please share the burden of vision, if you do that most junglers aren't going to mine you taking their camps. Hell, personally I wouldn't care if someone took ALL my camps if they were warding like a madman, because then I could safely gank their lane over and over and over until the enemy pulls an Ezreal and runs from us like we're Taric.

So yeah. Know which camps to take at what parts of the game, and share the burden of vision ESPECIALLY if you're taking your jungler's camps.
